DatabaseAce is capable of integrating plugins and external programs written in nearly any scripting or programming language.

External programs can be executed either locally through the server's filesystem or remotely via a HTTP request, making it easy to tightly incorporate DatabaseAce into your unique, mission-critical business processes.

DatabaseAce first passes input values to the external routine as command-line arguments (or as a URL query string when using HTTP requests).

The external program then executes and returns a user-readable description of its outcome, which DatabaseAce displays in context, making it appear as though the plugin is a native part of DatabaseAce's interface.

Execution of custom routines can be configured to occur manually at the user's discretion and/or automatically in response to pre-defined events (such as when records of a given type are updated, created or deleted).

DatabaseAce offers custom plugin development and integration services at a rate of $84/hour with a one-hour minimum.

Plugins are written in PHP and come with a 30-day warranty. Problems discovered within the first 30 days after delivery will be fixed at no charge. Future upgrades and revisions to the plugin can be purchased for an additional fee.
